INTRODUCTION

I am extremely happy to be part of highly energetic, talented and enthusiastic team at Ibadat International University Islamabad (IIUI). LLB (4 Year) degree program at IIUI is committed to yield the study of law beyond the abilities required to become a lawyer. We are targeting to carry out education, training and research with the purpose to equip the graduates with not only the required academic knowledge but to inculcate the capability to collect material and conduct skilled study with interdisciplinary outlook.

We aim at educating qualified lawyers who could comprehend the inevitabilities of change, growth and development and construe the different aspects of law, its strengths and weaknesses by realizing the value of legal education and its prospects for improving society with honesty, dignity and perseverance.

Entry Requirement: 12 Years of Education, FA /FSC or GCE A-Levels or Equivalent with Minimum 2nd Division.

Entry Test: Law Admission Test (LAT) by HEC is compulsory with 50% marks.

5% Quota for sons/daughters of advocates (in order of merit inter se)

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)
The Department of Law has designed the following Educational Objectives that are aligned with the program mission, vision, and mission of the University.
PEO 1: The Department will play an active role in inculcating the knowledge and understanding of substantive and Procedural Law in the students.
PEO 2: The Department will also cater the student who wants to pursue their career as a researcher or as an academician by exposing them to different research techniques.
PEO 3: The Department will also emphasis on the practical knowledge of the students by providing them exposure to Higher Courts and Jails through educational visits.
PEO 4: The Department will educate the law students on their professional obligations and responsibilities to instill ethical standards and social responsibility in them. A special emphasis will be placed on their moral development.

These Program Learning outcomes (PLOs) are the learning outcomes, which will be inculcated to the students to equip their knowledge, skills and ethics as enlisted below
1. Legal Knowledge
Understanding and knowledge of the legal system, laws, rules, regulations, rights, and obligations, as well as the capacity to interpret and apply law accurately and to analyze the facts effectively. Also, an ability to develop legal arguments.
2. Problem Analysis
An ability to identify and analyze the problem and to use the existing literature in generating new concepts and modern solutions to the problems.
3. Research Skills
An ability to do research utilising a variety of research approaches on contemporary challenges. Additionally, the capacity for data gathering, literature reviews, and the identification of potential solutions and preventative measures for contemporary issues. The ability to recognise legal ambiguities and the ability to fill those gaps in the law by employing efficient research techniques.
4. Communication Skills
An ability to write legal documents such plaints, deeds, contract letters and, formal emails. Having the ability to articulate legal arguments and advice in both formal and informal settings. The capacity to advocate effectively before the judge, or on any other legal forum. An Ability to analyze the law from diverse and global perspectives, discussing the political, social, and economic forces that shape laws.
5. Ethical Conduct
Well aware from the professional and ethical responsibilities. Manifesting professional and ethical behavior and encouraging others to do the same and working to improve the law and the quality of justice in the legal system.
6. Individual and Teamwork
An ability to work effectively, as an individual or in a team, on multidisciplinary settings.
